King Neptune is a 46-meter (150-feet) steel and aluminum-hulled luxury liveaboard yacht, purpose-built in 2024 and set to join the Neptune Liveaboards as its third vessel in 2025. Designed for exceptional diving expeditions across Indonesia, the vessel accommodates up to 22 guests in 10 en-suite cabins, each offering king or twin bed configurations. Two cabins can be converted into triples, and two single cabins can be transformed into doubles—perfect for group leaders or dive professionals. All cabins are located on the main or upper deck, featuring en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning, and panoramic sea views for a comfortable and immersive onboard experience.

King Neptune is crewed by a professional team of 20 and is equipped for extended voyages, boasting a range of 3,000 nautical miles. Powered by two 600HP Yanmar engines and cruising at a service speed of 10 knots, the vessel ensures smooth and stable journeys. Its three Cummins generators provide reliable onboard power, while two Coltri 315 compressors and a dedicated Coltri Nitrox system support advanced dive operations.

Supporting its diving program are two 8-meter RHIB tenders powered by 150HP engines, ideal for safe and efficient dive transfers. The vessel also features a watermaker system capable of producing 10 tons of fresh water per day, supported by a 45,000-litre freshwater tank and a 40,000-litre diesel tank to sustain long-range expeditions.

King Neptune combines thoughtful comfort, technical reliability, and spacious design to deliver unforgettable diving adventures across the Indonesian archipelago.

When is the best time to go on a liveaboards Indonesia?
The best time to go diving with liveaboards Indonesia depends on the region you plan to visit. Generally, the dry season from April to October is the best time to visit Komodo, while the prime season for Raja Ampat is from October to March. The Banda Sea is best visited from September to October, a short season but filled with everything we want to see, especially the Hammerhead migration.
How far along should I book the liveaboard ?
Liveaboard trips in popular destinations such as Komodo, Raja Ampat and Banda Sea tend to sell-out 6 months to 1 year in advance. It is recommended to reserve your spot early to catch the high season of one of these diving destinations.
What is the minimum dive experience?
For all our liveaboard trips the minimum dive experience is Advanced Open Water certification, equivalent or higher as well as a minimum of 25 logged dives. This is because some dive sites are either deeper than 18 meters (59 feet) or with challenging currents that require a level of confidence and experience.
